NEW REPAIR GUIDES

FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Hi,
I am electric engineer and I’m sure I could replace what ever is faulty, but…actually I don’t know what is this..can you help me please?

Motor runs, heater heats, but it doesn’t dry the clothes. When it stops, the “check condenser” light is on. I have cleaned the condenser throroughly, but the problem persists.

Hello, hope you can help. I understand the error code is for the heater relay.
I do not have the equipment you have to check the circuit, so I am looking to buy the relay and replace, to see if that works.
Can you please assist on the relay I should be purchasing?

Thank you,
Dominic Lloyd

I have a hoover VTC 5911nb tumble dryer that the water tank will not fill could this be a faulty pressure switch and if so could you supply the part

Tested pcb by watching your videos. Found the 61 ohm and a 1kohm resistor faulty.
Can you advise on part description and where to source please.pcb is Bitron 40005951.

Turned on today – kept cutting out after a few seconds with E22 code flashing lights. Looked at videos and looks like a thermostat change required. My model number doesn’t come up in any site so unsure of exact one to buy. Can you help please?

Dried a couple of loads after not using it for a month or so as nice weather all was well. Went to get last load and not dry, it was still damp and warm. Filter light showed so checked fluff filter and not much in it. Filter light went out. Tried to start but once press start button just makes a noise like something is trying to start but nothing! Un plugged etc and husband has tested sensors and heating thermastats as per video instruction and all good. All normal lights on display etc. Cleaned out all the fluff we could find including where fluff filter sits and in hose and vent etc. Does have the warm smell to it if u know what I mean!? It’s hoover vision HD vented VHV 781C.Drum moves well when moved manually and belt seems tight to drum and noobvious damage we can see. Husband at loss and is driving him bonkers and me also!! He’s thinking started capacitor? Any help much appreciated x

Hi wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Our Hoover vented tumble dryer started acting up last night. Firstly it started beeping and all red lights flashing on the front. We left it unplugged over night. Today plugged it back in and select a program in the knob, it stands for 30seconds, then beeps all lights flash and the dryer kicks in without me even pressing start. We have no heat from the element. Could you advice on what to test. I’m a gas engineer so know how to test for continuity.
Thanks for your time Ryan

Hi, my dryer which is only 2 years old is showing an E21 error, i cannot seem to find any local repair outlets especially with the current situation. I noticed a guide on the rear thermostat and on mine the connectors are slightly charred so as a first step for £8 i replaced this and still no joy. I wonder if you could offer any help to a guy without any electrical testing equipment? Many Thanks

Hello, I started following your video online. When I checked the very first Thermostat/Connector on the top left of the heater, I did not get a reading on the meter, leading me to believe this is the issue. I get an E15 error on the unit. Do I need to replace the whole heater? Or do I need to continue checking all of the other components? The one to the right does get a reading. Having a look in the heater, it also looks like some of the elements have collapsed/melted? Do you stock this model and how much is it?

I look forward to hearing from you

Susanne
