NEW REPAIR GUIDES

FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

intermittent beeping, then no response beep when start button pressed. No error codes shown. for every 100 presses of the button 99 will fail to activate the machine. Tried the one touch actions via the wizard which is hit and miss, if it does energise it will be after a prolong delay and will shut off without fully completing the cycle.

Hi,

I’m scratching my head with this.

With power applied and door closed the motor runs. No heat, no program, just motor running.

I. This state, pressing start, will start a program (heat is applied) but at the end, the motor continues to run.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Stuart

Hi, I went through info on this error. Condenser and filter are clean and dry. When starting cycle it spins for 5 minutes and then stops and shows e21 error.
In those 5 minutes it doesn’t get any warmer (heater faulty?)
Looking to hearing from you.
Thank you and regards

When you close the door and press the start/pause button the led just flashes

Hi, Thank you for your guide, I have been through the various steps of the guide, but to say I am a little puzzled is an understatement. I tested all thermostats and had continuity over all of them. I tested the heater, (i think correctly) plus (by mistake) I managed to put my fingers on the heater element and got an electric shock (oh dear!) so I know I have power to the heater assembly. I just cant seem to find a reason for it not heating. On the PCB board, I noticed the relay you change in your board was slightly discoloured (looks like heat damage) and I could notice a spark from inside the relay after a couple of moments of operation.

Does this sound like a relay failure? If every other sensor is good? We had a power failure (unsure why, could have been overload, blew a 13A fuse, the dryer and washing machine are on the circuit) but washing machine is fine.

I can obviously get the part number off the relay if needed and solder the item, if this is the problem, where is the best place to get them?

Thanks,

Rob.

The timer dial turns to the 150min setting but won’t go on – all other settings work, however, once it has started spinning the display starts flashing and the clothes need to go on multiple times to dry. I’ve watched your great videos and tested the heater thermostats front and rear and the NTC sensor – all appear to be fine. Thanks in advance for any advice/help you may offer.

hi i have this hoover hybrid heat pump dryer which is just over a year old and is now show e21.
i have cleaned all the filters and it still displays that error.
any help would be apricated

regards michael

Tumble dryer stops after about five minutes. All the lights flash and there can be a faint smell of burning. Checked vent and that seems ok unobstructed

Watched your YouTube. Where can I get a spare capacitor for this machine?

It has been working fine and I replaced a thermostat in it 4 years ago, but it now ends the cycle too soon.
Thanks
