Hotpoint TVEM70 Tumble dryer keeps tumbling after the programme has finished

The tumble dryer is drying the clothes heating correctly and the drum is tuning but the tumble dryer does not turn itself off

I will try and help with your Hotpoint TVEM70 Vented Tumble Dryer  problem

If the tumble dryer is drying and the other functions are working correctly but it is not stopping at the end of the program and just continues to run then I suggest you may have a problem with the selector switch or program timer as they are known.  I have added some useful videos to assist you below and also an exploded diagram showing you how the machine is put together with a full list of spare parts underneath that
