Siemens iQ300 washing machine model WM12P360GB/01 Error F43

Hi my washing machine is coming up with the error F43 I reset as per instructions. It did reset so I tried another 60 degrees wash. It filled as usual then obviously I couldn't just sit there I returned to check when it was on a spin cycle stating 4 minutes remaining. My washing remained stationery, the clock went to 3 minutes with the error F43 re-appearing.My uncle is fantastic at fixing things so he is coming over to take a look. Am I right in telling him he needs to check the pump for a blockage ? also do you think it sounds like it could be the carbon brushes. My mum and I are struggling to pull the machine out to see if the serial number is on the back. I have quoted the Model above so is the serial number definitely needed.Many thanks Sam and Lynne

Good afternoon Lynn, here is a list of work for your uncle to get on with when you get him over to the house.
Error 43 is normally related to the motor you may have worn carbon brushes, I have included a video below to assist you or your uncle with the repair and also included the carbon brushes for your machine listed below while doing the job it is worth taking the sump hose off and cleaning out any rubbish also in the pump as this sometimes can be related to the faults as well.

This error code mostly means that the carbon brushes are end of life. You can replace them yourselves with new spare parts.
