Zanussi ZOB330X Oven keeps tripping the circuit

by / Thursday, 04 June 2020 / Published in

Hi, I have a Zanussi ZOB330X electrical oven and when it is switched on it begins working for 1-2 minutes & then trips the circuit. After reading some of your oven fault diagnosis articles I found that this maybe due to the elements in need of replacement. I therefore replaced both elements which I could see had suffered some warping. These new elements now both work as can be seen in the short time the oven works however it still cuts out after 1-2 minutes. What could be the reason?Any help would be appreciated. Many thanksOssie

I will try and help with this problem Zanussi ZOB330X Oven

either one of the elements that you have fitted is still faulty and he's going to Earth, or it is possible that the fan motor or cooling fan may have earth fault.
the only real way of testing these components is using a mega this is an earth insulation testing machine they are quite expensive and I do not expect the general public to own one but if you have any electricians that are friends they may be able to lend you this instrument

please fist be aware that there were a few different models of this oven so make sure any part you buy fits the correct model
