How to Convert Natural Gas Cooker Oven Hob to Bottle Gas lpg, Butane, Propane, Calor Etc

If you want to install a jet conversion kit for use on bottle gas like butane or propane this video will guide you on what will be needed to be done don't attempt this conversion unless you're qualified to complete this work. Gas hobs and cookers are set up by the manufactures to operate on natural gas in the UK other parts of the world may differ. Conversion kits are available for some appliances like hobs and ovens but consult the manufacture before you buy.

Remove gridles from oven hob

Remove burner head and cap from hob to get access to jet

on most gas hobs a 7mm scocket will be needed

after unscrewing the oven hob gas jet use pin nose pliers to the remove

Changing a hob to bottle gas is an easy process

Conversion kits are normally available for hobs but not always ovens and cookers you will need to check with the manufacture if your appliance can run on bottled gas.

This guide is for reference only and all work should be done by a gas safe engineer in the UK other organizations will apply in other country’s always carefully follow the instructions included with the manufacturer-approved gas conversion kits to convert your appliance to bottle gas

    My Electrolux electric cooker is not turning off the cooling fan. Can you give me any guidance to location of this thermostat and how difficult will it be to source a replacement?
