Hi Paul, I have a Bosch WTE84105GB/35 Condenser Tumble Dryer.
I followed your nice and clear videos (thank you) and diagnosed a NTC sensor failure. Hopefully correctly.
On buying the new one it has a female plastic socket (rather than a couple of connector wires) which will plug into a male plastic socket.
Bought here : https://www.espares.co.uk/product/es1123510/bosch-tumble-dryer-temperature-regulator
I now can’t seem to locate the male socket anywhere to buy.
Do you know a source or do you have any other suggestions?
thanks
robert

AEG T75280AC Tumble dryer not heating. Checking heater ntc sensors and pcb

Hi Paul,
Can you please provide assistance, my tumble dryer is turns on and spins but does not heat up. I have opened it up and checked the heater, it has one thermostat which has tested ok for continuity, the heating coils look intact but I am unable to disconnect the cable to check continuity.
Can you tell me if this appliance has more than 1 thermostat if so where it may be located as I could not find anymore.
Also could it be the circuit board?
Thank you in advance.

Beko DCU7230W tumble dryer (7182681500) not heating, has NTC thermister fault

Hello
We have a Beko DCU7230W (7182681500) s/n 12-210450-10 dryer. The NTC thermister on the heater unit has gone faulty (eg. gives about 450 ohms at 20-25degC) so the elements won’t come on, ie. no heat. On the component it is marked as ELTH, Type 279, T175, 3116/37-12. I’d like to buy a cheap new or used NTC to replace it rather than a whole new heater unit with the stat and NTC included – but cannot seem to find any online.
Please do you know where I could buy the part.
Also, please, might you be able to explain the meaning of the numberings on our part ie. T175, 3116/37-12 – are they significant and need to match a new replacement or is it just the “Type 279” that is needed. For example I’ve seen a cheap “Type 279, 3088/45-07” and “Type 279, 3088/35-11” and “Type 279, 3088/47-12”.
Many thanks if you can advise with reply please.

Zanussi ZDH8333W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer Sometimes Stops During Cycle/Time Resets & Shows Err 71

My Zanussi ZDH8333W Heat Pump Tumble Dryer sometimes stops during the cycle. I’ve been trying to diagnose this issue, which seems to be due to the machine overheating and then stopping. I have cleaned out a HUGE amount of fluff from inside the machine (top, both sides and back removed, and replaced). We have seen Err 71, which I believe points to the NTC1 temperature probe.
I found a page of yours giving an answer to E63 on the same model, and helpfully the wiring diagram and exploded views.
https://www.how-to-repair.com/faqs/zanussi-zdh8333p-heat-pump-tumble-dryer-shows-e63-error-code/
However I’m unable to locate the temperature probe in the machine to be able to test it – can you suggest where it is?
I see it shares a loom (and J7 connection to the main board) with the Condense tank sensing – so guess it is in a similar location? If so, is that under the cover marked as 403A on the 3rd exploded view?
The machine is heating/drying OK otherwise – and will continue the cycle once it has cooled down and restarted. Plenty of water being extracted.
PS – I can’t find a parts list on the E63 page, seems to be missing
