My washing machine won’t spin
Machine won’t stop draining any ideas… .??..
My zanussi model ZWH6140p doesn’t take the detergent and when the drum is filled with water the start/stop button will start blinking red contineously and nothing happens again. However settings to spin, drain works ok. It was bought new but have been kept since. We just wanted to use and detected this problem. Please what should be done. I have experience in fixing electrical appliances and using multi meter so please guide me through.

Hi, I have a Zanussi 6160P which has been barely used as have been in storage for many years. It appears as new probably only be used less than 100 times & a shame to throw. There are no lights on the control panel, I have used it for a year & several times this has happened but leaving for awhile has subsequently worked so thought it was a dry joint somewhere. Have change/checked the power source, just changed the door lock & computer card as thought a dry joint my be the issue, still no joy, have checked connections to drives etc & all seem fine. If there are no lights on the panel (assuming the new door lock & computer card are ok) could it be the panel or is there another sensor that can stop any lights ? Many thanks Alan
