Hi, Would you happen to have any videos on how to replace the selector knob which is freespinning. A repair person told me over the phone that it would not be cost effective to replace as he would need to replace the entire circuit board. I cannot afford to replace the washing machine so was going to try the knob first. Big thank you for the door switch video too.it was very useful.

Beko WMB71642w washing machine won’t drain
Hi
We have a WMB71642W that doesn’t want to drain. I did get the machine into diagnostic mode and it showed E05. I opened the filter at the bottom and cleared (also flooded garage). I tried the diagnostic again and the code shown up was 15 18. I can’t find anything for this but it seems that it still won’t drain. Is this going to be the pump or control board, or is it something else?

John Lewis JLWD1610 Washing Machine Dryer not heating
Drying cycle runs, pumps run, dryer blower fan runs, no voltage at the heating element(s), thermal cut out has continuity, another (temperature/thermistor ??) sensor mounted on the side of the heater chamber has continuity. All wire look fine/not damaged or loose. Temperature? sensor just before the warm air inlet into the drum has no continuity, suspect this is the fault?? It has numbers 12466410 and 88910511. Does this seem likely – if I’m right can you supply the spare part please?
