I will try and help with your Hotpoint Washing Machine NSWA1043CWUK problem
the first thing you need to check is the heating element you can do a continuity check on this to make sure the element is good as you will see in the videos below, you can then also do a test on the NTC sensor which you can see in the diagram below there is a video on how NTC sensors work, if both of these are good then there is a possibility you may have a problem with the programmer or printed circuit board as they are called.
